Leningrad,<\/strong>where he earned a&nbsp;<strong>Doctorate in Composition<\/strong>&nbsp;as well&nbsp;<strong>as Master's degrees in Piano and Orchestral Conducting.<\/strong>He studied under renowned masters&nbsp;<strong>Sergei Slonimsky<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Ilya Musin<\/strong>At the age&nbsp;<strong>of 24,<\/strong>&nbsp;he became the youngest member in the history of the&nbsp;<strong>Union of Composers of the<\/strong>&nbsp;USSR, and at&nbsp;<strong>28,<\/strong>he made his conducting debut with the&nbsp;<strong>Leningrad Philharmonic Orchestra.<\/strong>His His musical journey began in a family of musicians, and at the age of five he started piano studies under the guidance of his father, Canadian pianist Alexander Tselyakov. His exceptional talent was evident from an early age, graduating from The Royal Conservatory of Music at a young age.\nHe later pursued advanced studies at the Oberlin Conservatory, the Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al, and the University of Utah, where he earned a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance and Musicology. Throughout his training, he studied with renowned pianists including Sergei Babayan, Yakov Kaplinsky, Olga Kern, Marc-Andr\u00e9 Hamelin, and John Perry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Tselyakov has built a distinguished and versatile career as a concert pianist. His recitals have taken him to prestigious venues such as the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., Glenn Gould Studio, and the CBC Radio Broadcasting Centre in Toronto, as well as concert halls at universities throughout Canada, the United States, and Europe. He has also been featured in numerous interviews on CBC Radio and Classical 107 in Canada.\nHe is the recipient of numerous awards in international piano competitions and has been awarded full scholarships to the Oberlin Conservatory, the Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al, and the University of Utah. He also received the Pinchas Zukerman Young Artist Award at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa.\nAs a soloist, Dr. Tselyakov has performed with orchestras including the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, the San Luis Potos\u00ed Symphony Orchestra (Mexico), and the Canadian Sinfonietta in Toronto. In 1990, Misha\nimmigrated to Israel and continued his studies with Chaim Taub. During\nhis time in Israel, Mr. Vitenson won numerous prizes and awards,\nincluding annual America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarships and\nthe prestigious Braun Zingel Award as winner of a competition held at\nthe Rubin Music Academy in Jerusalem. In 1996, Mr. Vitenson continued\nhis studies with Sergiu Schwartz at the Harid Conservatory.\nHe\u2019s been awarded top prizes at international violin competitions,\nincluding Premio Paganini (Italy, 1998) and Pablo de Sarasate (Spain,\n1997) and First Prize in the 1998 Citt\u00e0 d\u2019Andria International Violin\nCompetition (Italy). Mr. Vitenson was the winner of the 1999 Aspen Music\nFestival Concerto Competition and First Prizewinner at the 2000 National\nSociety of Arts and Letters Violin Competition and is also both a two-time\nwinner of the Harid Conservatory Concerto Competition and a two-time\nrecipient of the Harid Conservatory\u2019s Joseph Gingold Award for Excellence\n(1998 and 2000). Mr. Vitenson\u2019s recent engagements have included\nappearances as soloist with all the major orchestras in Israel, including\nthe Israel Philharmonic under Zubin Mehta, and the Israel Chamber\nOrchestra as well as with the Padova e Venetto Orchestra on tour in\nBrazil, the National Uzbekistan Orchestra, the Aspen Music Festival\nSymphonia Orchestra, the Harid Philharmonia, and the Harid Chamber\nStrings. Mr. Vitenson has given recitals and chamber music concerts\nthroughout Israel, the United States, Canada, South America, and Europe.\nAs a member of the Kinneret Piano Trio, he participated in the Isaac Stern\nChamber Music Workshop at Carnegie Hall in 1995.\nAfter receiving the Bachelor of Music from Harid Conservatory School of\nMusic at Lynn University, Mr. Vitenson became a student of Joel Smirnoff\nat the Juilliard School, where he earned his Master of Music in Violin\nPerformance. There he appeared as soloist with the Juilliard Orchestra in\nAvery Fisher Hall under the baton of Hugh Wolff. In the fall of 2002, Mr.\nVitenson joined the Amernet String Quartet and the faculty at Northern\nKentucky University as an Artist-in-Residence, teaching violin and\nchamber music. He received\nhis music degree at Saint Petersburg State Conservatory in Russia. Dr.\nZvonnikov won several international Competitions such as: second prize\nin the Maria Udina Concerto Competition; Second prize in American\nProtege Concerto Competition. In 2012 Evgeny won the Ft. Hays University\nOrchestra Young Artists Competition and performed Mendelssohn Violin\nConcerto with the Ft. Hays University Symphony. As soloist, he performed\nwith Saint-Petersburg State Philharmonic Orchestra, Symphonic\nOrchestra of the Karelian State Philharmonic, National Conservatory of\nMexico City Orchestra, Wichita State University Orchestra. From 2010-\n2014 he was a second violinist of Grammy Nominated Saint Petersburg\nString Quartet. Mr. Zvonnikov is a founding member of The Orfeo Trio with\npianist Julie Bees and cellist Leonid Shukaev. He taught master classes in\nDallas, Eureka Springs, San-Francisco Conservatory, Yong Siew Toh\nConservatory of Music in Singapore, and at other universities in Southeast\nAsia. He has collaborated with many famous musicians, including\npianists Anton Nel, Misha Dichter, Leon Fleisher, Gilbert Kalish, and Peter\nDonohoe. From 2011-2017 he worked as Adjunct Faculty at Wichita State\nUniversity. He is principal\ncellist in the Wichita Symphony Orchestra and the Wichita Grand Opera\nOrchestra. Mr. Shukaev is a founding member of The Orfeo Trio and Orfeo\nDuo. The recent performances of these groups includes tours in the USA,\nChina, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. He was also a founding\nmember of the Brahms Trio and the St. Petersburg Trio.\nDr. Shukaev founded the St. Petersburg Quartet in 1986, which was in\nexistence for thirty years and regularly performed in North America,\nEurope and Asia at prestigious music series and festivals, including an\nopening night performance at the Mostly Mozart festival at Lincoln\nCenter, NY; seven concerts over five years at London's Wigmore Hall;\nnumerous British festivals, including Aldeburgh; Canadian d\u00e9buts in\nMontreal, Toronto, Ottawa and Vancouver; Lincoln Center's \"Great\nperformances\" series; NYC's Frick Collection and 92nd Street Y series; and\nthe Caramoor, Piccolo Spoleto, and Music Mountain Festivals. The\nQuartet has toured Germany (including the prestigious Frankfurt Alte\nOper and Herkules Hall in Munich), the Netherlands (including the\nConcertgebouw), Ireland, Denmark, Poland, Japan, Spain, Italy, France,\nBelgium, Norway, UK, Switzerland, Sweden, South Korea, Taiwan, Russia,\nBelgium and major festivals in Mexico.\nWith the St. Petersburg Quartet Mr. Shukaev recorded the complete cycle\nof the Shostakovich string quartets on the Hyperion label, as well as the\nProkofiev and Glazunov quartets on the Delos label, and the Borodin and\nProkofiev quartets on the Dorian label. The quartet\u2019s disc of Shostakovich\nQuartets Nos. 3, 5 &amp; 7 on the Sony label was nominated for a Grammy,\nand the disc of Quartets Nos. 5, 7 &amp; 9 won the Chamber Music\nAmerica\/WQXR Radio Prize for Best Chamber CD (2001). Griffin is\nenjoying a vivid and busy career. Prior to his appointment of principal\ntrumpet with the Orquesta Sinfonica de Monterrey, Adrian has held\npositions as principal trumpet with the Filarmonica de Jalisco, co-\nprincipal trumpet with the Orquesta Sinfonica de Monterrey, Ballet de\nMonterrey, and Opera Metropolitana de Monterrey; fourth\/utility trumpet\nwith the Virginia Symphony Orchestra; as well as trumpet professor at the\nUniversity of Texas at San Antonio. He also appeared in the 2011 Pan\nAmerican Games in the Inaugural Ceremonies.\nAs a clinician, Adrian has appeared at such events as The Texas Band\nMasters Convention, The Texas Music Educators Association, The Iowa\nMusic Educators Association, The New Jersey Music Educators\nAssociation, and has presented master-classes and clinics throughout\nMexico. Adrian is a contributor to The Instrumentalist magazine, having\npublished more than a dozen articles. His greatest literary\naccomplishment, a book entitled Buzz to Brilliance, is published by Oxford\nUniversity Press. Adrian was the first person in North America to be signed\nby Mr. Denis Wick as a Performing Artist for Denis Wick Mutes.
